RAQUEL COLE
Raquel Cole is a seasoned singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Cole has been perfecting her sound for more than half her young life. Now living full-time in Music City USA, she grew up in the Okanagan Valley located in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Growing up Cole was attracted to wide-raging influences that encompassed John Mayer's bluesy sounds, Bryan Adam's genius lyrics, and Shania Twain's pop-country tunes. Cole reveals, "At a really young age my dad introduced me to The Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, The Guess Who and Randy Bachman. He's a drummer and he wanted someone to play music with him. When I was nine he bought me my first guitar and it grew from there." This led Cole to her love of songs and songwriting. Also an accomplished guitar player, she added the mandolin to her arsenal and crafted a country style all her own.
Raquel ended last year on a high note by opening numerous fall shows for Grammy award-winning band, Diamond Rio, on their arena tour. Cole is quickly becoming recognized as a gifted guitarist and songwriter. Her song, "It's For Real This Time" was recently featured on Sirius XM's The Highway. She is currently opening shows for Josh Turner on his U.S. tour, with upcoming stops in the northeast, including the Best Buy Theatre in New York, NY. Cole is confirmed to perform at Canadian Music Week this spring.
